Long Stories Short is...
A community focused project offering creative writing workshops and risograph printing. We want to empower people to share stories, connect in accessible ways through creativity, and celebrate overlooked voices.
Through affordable, inclusive workshops in a warm, low-pressure environment, we support children, young people and adults of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to build confidence, wellbeing and a sense of community. Our workshops aim to offer a space for creative self-expression whilst developing new skills and having a good time.
What We’re Up To
We are running a 6-week creative writing course at Whittington Park Community Centre starting Wednesday 12th of May 2026. Please join us! You can just turn up on the day between 12:30pm and 2pm. If you'd like to know more, contact us or email us: longstoriesshort@outlook.com
In other related news..
As of May of 2026, we will be based at Whittington Park Community Centre with the risograph printer, where we are planning to run creative writing and image-making workshops alongside a risograph printing service. More to come soon!
